During Lollapalooza, & a couple of days before the festival started, I demanded that my friends & I eat at this restaurant call Quartino. Something in my body told me we had to eat there. When we sat down at our table and we were looking at our menus, I swear my mind told me to look at the door. At that very moment, Taylor Rice, Kelcey Ayer, and Matt Frazier walk through the door and sat at the table next to us. I, of course, hyperventilate. I did get a picture and got to hang out with them :D
If there’s anything to be taken from this, it’s that Quartino is the best restaurant in the whole wide world (it’s on State Street in downtown, no? Freakin’ amazing).
They’re sweet dudes with A+ taste in grub, among other things.

Has their new album been released yet? If so, where can I get it?!?!?!?!
No, it hasn’t. My best guess is that it’ll be out spring of next year, but that’s just my estimation!

So Im guessing you know some stuff about the local natives. Do you know if they are ever going to come to new york ?! These headphones arent doing it anymore I neeeeeeed to see them live !
This post lists all of their upcoming shows, when they’re touring with The National. No New York shows, sorry…but when they get their next record all recorded, some new dates will start popping up and I’m positive they’ll play New York! I’m guessing it’ll be springtime when that happens.
As always, I’ll post any tour dates here when they’re announced!
